Born and raised in Texas, we were taught that barbeque is more than a way to cook, it is our heritage. Joey has been cooking since he was a young kid with his mom and dad. They would have a big barbeque every year for his dad’s birthday. We have mastered barbeque from cooking with ground pits, grills, and custom smokers. We have done it all and BBQ has become not only an obsession, but it is also a way of life! Starting in the fall of 2019, we will be taking our BBQ Rub hobby to a Business level growing for many years to come.
We have been cooking all our lives, both personal and professional. Joey cooked with a team called Diamond G Cookers, this is where he fine-tuned his competition and catering skills. However, we started competing on a professional level with our own team back in 2006. Today, the team consists of Joey and Kassie Smith and we enjoy traveling the BBQ Trail and Competing with and against our BBQ Family.
We own and operate Cedar Park Wrecker for many years now also just open Texas Truck &Trailer that is a repair facility for Big Truck Repair. We reach out to numerous local charities and support causes each year. We are very active in supporting our troops. They are always in our thoughts and our prayers. Being a Texan, we are raised to value and honor the men and women that server our country. They provide us with the securities of freedom, and we should support them every chance we get.
We also support Operation BBQ Relief and have had the honor of being able to support volunteers, first responders and other support personnel during times of disaster relief, by providing thousands of fully cooked, fresh, hot meals!
We are also volunteers for Community Blessing Outreach and First Chance Foundation.
